ZONING
The City of Malta requires you to have a Zoning Permit for any work done on your property that may influence setback regulations and roofing. This includes fences, roofing, bay and egress windows, new construction, additions, concrete, storage sheds, decks and carports. Zoning permits are available at City Hall. They must be completed and turned in to City Hall before the Zoning Administrator will inspect your property or a permit is issued.
No permit will be issued unless the contractor has paid the yearly contractor's fee.

$100.00 Fee: Garages, houses, carports, storage sheds
