An Ordinance defining community decay in the City of Malta, Montana; Establishing policies and procedures for the abatement of public nuisances; disabled or junk vehicles or junk to be in view of the public from any public right of way; providing penalties for violation thereof.

All recreational vehicles (motor homes, campers, boat trailers, utility trailers and others) must be removed from city streets and alleys from the period of December 1st - March 1st. Ordinance #422
No vehicle shall be parked or left standing upon a city street or on city property for a period longer than five (5) days. Ordinance #314
It is unlawful to park a vehicle on a street in the city other than parallel with the edge of the street or highway , headed in the direction of lawful traffic movement and with the right-hand wheels of the vehicle within 18” of the curb edge. Ordinance #244
The siren that sounds everyday at 6pm is not working at this time as repairs are needed.
The City of Malta is offering Auto Bill Pay!
After filling out the Authorization form and returning it to the City Clerk’s office, the City will
automatically take out the money for your monthly utility bill on the 7th of the month.

The City of Malta Landfill will be open Monday - Saturday, 9 AM to 4:30 PM, closing for lunch 12-1 pm. Closed on Sundays.
